Prime Video announced that their upcoming original film, The Idea of You, starring Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine, will premiere on the streamer on May 2. The announcement came along with a new poster from the film. The trailer for The Idea of You will be unveiled on Thursday.

The Idea of You is adapted from Robinne Lee's novel of the same name and revolves around a middle-aged woman, who falls for a singer in his 20s, from her daughter's favourite band. The film is said to be based on Harry Styles, the One Direction singer. However, these reports are not confirmed by the makers.

The Idea of You will be the closing film for the upcoming South X South West (SXSW) film festival, which is set to take place between March 8 and 16. Michael Showalter has directed the upcoming romantic-comedy film from a screenplay by Jennifer Westfeldt. Ella Rubin, Reid Scott, Jordan Aaron, Jaiden Anthony, Raymond Cham, and Viktor White among others form the supporting cast of The Idea of You.
