The makers of Deadpool & Wolverine dropped a new clip, confirming that Tyler Mane is part of the film as Sabretooth. The arch rival of Wolverine, Sabretooth (Mane) first appeared in a feature film with Bryan Singer's 2000 film X-Men. Liev Schreiber also played the character in 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine. In the latest video, Sabretooth says, "Ready to die?!" at the sight of Wolverine (Hugh Jackman). At the same time, Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) gives a piece of advice to Wolverine—"You look ridiculous"—before removing some weapons from the torso of the mutant. Then, the video drops the easter egg: "People have waited decades for this fight; it is not going to be easy."

Shawn Levy directed the film from a screenplay that he wrote with Reynolds, Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese, and Zeb Wells. It is the film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to have an 'R' rating.

The story follows Wade Wilson, also known as Deadpool, as the Time Variance Authority recruits the Reynolds character to help protect the multiverse, thus affecting his tranquil existence. The film also stars Emma Corrin, Rob Delaney, Jennifer Garner, Matthew Macfadyen, and Morena Baccarin, among others.

Deadpool & Wolverine is slated for a July 26 release in theatres.
