K J Apa to headline romantic dramedy titled Falling

Falling will be written and directed by Colin Krisel and James Krisel and backed by Gulstream Pictures

K J Apa, known for Riverdale, is all set to headline an upcoming romantic comedy-drama titled Falling. The film, which comes from Gulfstream Pictures, has gone on floors in the UK.

Apa is reteaming with Gulfstream Pictures, after working with the production house for Prime Video's One Fast Move (2024) and Netflix's The Last Summer (2019).

Falling will be written and directed by Colin Krisel and James Krisel. Apa will be seen as Jack, a witty and charming guy who usually avoids commitment. He finally decides to take a chance on love with Jillian. However, his plans get complicated when his best friend Johnny unexpectedly develops feelings for her too.

Luber Roklin Entertainment is partnering with Gulfstream Pictures on this film. The two companies have worked together before on One Fast Move. Gulfstream Pictures' Mike Karz and Bill Bindley, Luber Roklin's Lena Roklin and Matt Luber and Tempo Productions' Piers Tempest are the producers. Executive producers include Apa, Tom Salentine, Dakota Rosen and Mary Vernieu.
