Jason Patric, who is best known for 1987's The Lost Boys, has signed on to star in Terrifier 3, the horror film written and directed by Damien Leone. The makers are yet to reveal any details about Patric's character in the film, a Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting production. However, they shared a poster giving a first look at it. Patric joins Daniel Roebuck as the latest addition to the Terrifier sequel. The makers just wrapped up the New York schedule for the film, which stars David Howard Thornton as Art the Clown. The plot follows Howard Thornton's character as he further troubles the peaceful lives of the unsuspecting Miles County residents on Christmas Eve.

The returning cast members also include Lauren LaVera, Samantha Scaffidi, Elliot Fullam, and Chris Jericho.

Phil Falcone and Lisa Falcone are serving as the producer and executive producer, respectively. Producers also include Jason Leavy, Michael Leavy, Steve Della Salla, and George Steuber. Brandon Hill, Erick Opeka, and Brad Miska are also executive producing it for Cineverse, alongside Matthew Helderman and Luke Taylor.

Terrifier 3 is slated for an October 11 release in US theatres.
