Netflix has dropped a trailer for the third and final season of Vikings: Valhalla, a sequel to the original Vikings series. Featuring a new generation of Viking explorers and warriors, Valhalla is set around 100 years following the events in the original. Created by Jeb Stuart and Michael Hirst, it stars Sam Corlett, Leo Suter, Frida Gustavsson, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Asbjørn Krogh Nissen, Bradley Freegard, Laura Berlin, Caroline Henderson, David Oakes, Pollyanna McIntosh, and Julian Seager.

The official logline reads thus: "In pursuit of a new Viking home, our heroes must venture further than they ever have before. From Constantinople to Greenland to the edge of the known world. But before they can set sail for new horizons, they must travel back to where it all started for one last battle. Heroes will become legends in this final chapter of the Valhalla saga."

The executive producers of Vikings: Valhalla comprise Hirst, Stuart, Morgan O'Sullivan, Sherry Marsh, Alan Gasmer, James Flynn, Sheila Hockin, John Weber, Steve Stark, Peter Friedlander, and Paul Buccieri.

Vikings: Valhalla is slated for a July 11 release on Netflix.
