DreamWorks Animation dropped the first-look poster for its upcoming film, titled The Wild Robot. Christopher Sanders, best known for How to Train Your Dragon and Lilo & Stitch, directed the film from his own screenplay. It is an adaptation of Peter Brown's book 'The Wild Robot'.

The plot follows ROZZUM unit 7134 after a shipwreck leaves the robot stranded on an island, making it familiarise with the harsh environment, gradually forge connections with the inhabitants of the island, and a gosling's adoptive parent.

The Wild Robot stars Lupita Nyong’o, Pedro Pascal, Catherine O’Hara, Bill Nighy, Kit Connor, Stephanie Hsu, Mark Hamill, Matt Berry, and Ving Rhames. Raymond Zibach is the production designer, with Mary Blee as editor.

Jeff Hermann produced the film for DreamWorks Animation. Universal Pictures is set the film to release in theatres worldwide on September 27 this year.
