Amazon MGM comedy Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie has signed up Hollywood's top stars to act in the Kyle Balda directorial.

The star cast led by Hugh Jackman, comprises Emma Thompson, Nicholas Braun, Nicholas Galitzine, Molly Gordon, Hong Chau, Tosin Cole, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Conleth Hill, and Mandeep Dhillon.

The film, scripted by Craig Mazin, is adapted from Leonie Swann's international bestseller. Three Bags revolves around a shepherd George Hardy (Jackman), who read aloud a murder mystery assuming his sheep would understand, is found dead under mysterious circumstances and the sheep believed Hardy was murdered. They decide to solve the crime themselves once convinced that the local cop Tim Derry (Braun), who has not solved a single crime, will be of no use.

Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie will be backed by Lindsay Doran and Working Title's Time Bevan and Eric Fellner. The film, which is expected to get a theatrical release on February 20, 2026, is executive produced by Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Aditya Sood, and Tim Wellspring.
