The makers of The Killer's Game, starring Dave Bautista in the lead role, have released the trailer for the film. The trailer delves a bit elaborately into the plot of the film about a hitman named Joe Flood (Bautista), who wants out after discovering that he has a terminal illness but then goes back into the assassination business. JJ Perry directed the film from a screenplay that Rand Ravich and James Coyne wrote based on Jay Bonansinga's novel 'The killer's game'.

The film stars Sofia Boutella as Bautista's girlfriend, who gets into a damsel-in-distress situation. The cast also includes Terry Crews, Scott Adkins, Pom Klementieff, and Ben Kingsley.

The Killer's Game is slated for a September 13 release in theatres.

Bautista last appeared in Dune: Part Two.
