With A Quiet Place: Day One, starring Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn in the lead roles, set to hit the theatres on June 28, 2024, the film's run time has been revealed. The film will have a run time of 1 hour and 40 minutes, making it the longest film in the franchise, including A Quiet Place (2018) and A Quiet Place Part II(2020).

The upcoming film is a spin-off of the original film that was released in 2018. The events in A Quiet Place: Day One take place before the first film. Nyong'o plays Sam, who must survive an alien invasion.

Michael Sarnoski, who has previously helmed Nicolas Cage starrer Pig (2021), wrote A Quiet Place: Day One based on the idea of John Krasinski, who wrote and directed the first two films in the franchise.

The film is backed by Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller through Platinum Dunes, along with John under his production banner Sunday Night.
