Sharon Stone to star alongside Bob Odenkirk in Nobody 2

Actor Sharon Stone is all set to join Bob Odenkirk in Nobody 2, a sequel to Universal’s 2021's hit action thriller.

Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto, known for horror film May the Devil Take You, will direct the film from a screenplay by Derek Kolstad, Aaron Rabin, Odenkirk and Umair Aleem.

Odenkirk, who starred in the first film, will reprise his role of a mild-mannered family man who is a secret former government assassin. While not much is known about the plot of the sequel, Stone is expected to play the main villain in the action drama.

Odenkirk and David Leitch, who produced the original film, are back to bankroll the sequel along with Kelly McCormick via their Universal-based 87North. Odenkirk and Marc Provissiero will produce through Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment. Braden Aftergood will produce through Eighty Two Films.

Nobody was released during the pandemic and became a surprise hit, praised by critics and audience globally. The film starred Bob Odenkirk along with Connie Nielsen, Aleksey Serebryakov, RZA, and Christopher Lloyd. The film follows a mild-mannered family man who returns to his former life of an assassin after he and his family become the target of a vengeful crime lord.

The film is all set to be released in theatres on August 15, 2025.

Stone is best known for her work in the erotic thriller Basic Instinct. She earned an Oscar nomination for her role in Casino where she starred alongside Robert de Niro and Joe Pesci. Recently, she was seen in a few TV roles like Ryan Murphy’s Ratched at Netflix and Paolo Sorentino’s The New Pope at HBO.

Odenkirk is known worldwide for his role as lawyer Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad. He reprised his role in Better Call Saul which was also critically acclaimed. He is also played memorable roles in films and shows such as Nebraska, Fargo and Little Women.
