The trailer for Crescent City was unveiled by makers on Saturday. Academy Award nominees Alec Baldwin and Terrence Howard star in lead roles in the film which is directed by RJ Collins and written by Rich Ronat.

The trailer shows that a serial killer is on a murderous spree and Howard and Baldwin are officers on the case. As their investigation goes nowhere, the officers also become suspects in the case.

The official synopsis of Crescent City reads, "When a small southern town is terrorized by a relentless serial killer everyone becomes a suspect, including local authorities. As the body count rises and the dark mystery deepens, the chief detective becomes haunted by the horrors of his past."

The extended cast of Crescent City includes Esai Morales, Nicky Whelan, Michael Sirow, Weston Cage, Anjul Nigam, Rose Lane Sanfilippo, Maria Camila Giraldo, Reema Sampat, Eduard Osipov, Nikita Kahn, Dani Druz, Rocky Myers among others.

Crescent City is all set to hit theatres on August 16.
