Apple TV+ released the first footage of the second season of the sci-fi thriller series Severance. The first episode of the season is set to be released on January 17, 2025.

The season went into production back in October 2022 but got delayed due to creative differences and then later due to strikes in Hollywood.

The series follows Mark Scout (played by Adam Scott), who leads a team whose employees have undergone a severance procedure that surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. Following the first episode, the other episodes will be released every Friday until March 21, 2025.

Season 1 of the series received 14 nominations at the Primetime Emmy Awards, including for Outstanding Drama Series, along with several acting nominations.
