Jennifer Lawrence's next titled Why Don't You Love Me

Jennifer Lawrence is set to star in the upcoming film Why Don't You Love Me, which is adapted from the 2023 graphic novel by Paul B Rainey. Robert Funke, known for creating On Becoming a God in Central Florida, is penning the film. Details regarding who will be directing the project is yet to be disclosed. Apart from headlining the film, Lawrence will also be involved as a producer.

Billed to be a sci-fi comedy, Why Don't You Love Me follows an unhappily married couple Claire and Mark, who struggle through their personal and professional lives until they realise that "something is not quite right in their reality".

The graphic novel has been described as a “pitch-black comedy about marriage, alcoholism, depression and mourning lost opportunities,” with surprising twists along the way.

Along with Lawrence, producers on Why Don't You Love Me include Justine Ciarrocchi for Excellent Cadaver, Ari Aster, Lars Knudsen, and Emily Hildner for Square Peg, and A24. Rainey will serve as executive producer.
