Actor Mike Heslin, popularly known for his role as Taylor Sheridan's Lioness, breathed his last due to cardiac arrest after a week-long hospitalisation.

His partner, Nicolas James Wilson, shared the news on social media about Heslin's demise.

In his moving social media post, Nicolas described Heslin as "brilliant, selfless, talented, and a real-life guardian angel."

He added that Heslin single-handedly carried him through multiple rounds of cancer. Additionally, Nicolas said that the doctors had no explanation as to why his partner died despite him being "in perfect health."

Nicolas said he would name his child if he becomes a dad one day and raise him at least as half a man as Heslin is.

Born in 1994, Heslin has starred in series such as Lioness, The Influencers, and Younger. He was also a part of the TV film The Holiday Proposal Plan.
