Actor Adarsh Gourav is all set to start shooting for an international project in Thailand. He will be part of a new series in the popular Alien franchise. It is a prequel to director Ridley Scott’s Alien (1979). The project is helmed by Noah Hawley and is set 70 years before the events in Alien.

In the four-month-long shooting schedule in Thailand, Adarsh will be sharing the screen space with Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin and Essie Davis. Ridley Scott will serve as the executive producer for the project.

As per a press note, Adarsh said about the project, “Embarking on this journey with the Alien franchise is a dream come true. I am thrilled to collaborate with a stellar cast and visionary creators like Noah Hawley and Ridley Scott.”

Alien will premiere on FX on Hulu and is expected to present a fresh perspective on the franchise. This time, the storyline will take place on Earth as opposed to the usual extraterrestrial settings in the previous parts.

Previously, Adarsh was seen in the Netflix film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, alongside Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
