Production for fifth season of Stranger Things begins

The production for the upcoming fifth season of Stranger Things series has begun, streaming platform Netflix announced on social media recently.

The installment was set to go on floors earlier last year but was interuppted by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. The upcoming will be the final season. The series stars Noah Schnapp, Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer and Charlie Heaton.

The series, which is currently four seasons old, is yet to announce the premiere date of the fifth installment. Created by Matt and Ross Duffer, Stranger Things is produced by Monkey Massacre Productions & 21 Laps Entertainment.

The Duffer brothers serve as writers, directors, executive producers and showrunners alongside executive producer/director Shawn Levy and executive producer Dan Cohen of 21 Laps and executive producer Iain Paterson.
