Aaron Taylor-Johnson, best known for his titular role in the two Kick-Ass films, and for playing Quicksilver in the MCU is all set to star in David Mackenzie’s next film Fuze. According to its synopsis, Fuze revolves around a heist that takes place amidst an evacuation following a WW II bomb threat at a London construction site.

Fuze also marks the reunion of Taylor-Johnson and Mackenzie, who previously collaborated for Outlaw King, a period film concerning the Wars of Scottish Independence. Mackenzie is no stranger to the heist genre, having helmed a modern western-style heist film in Hell or High Water.

Fuze adds to the long lineup of upcoming films for Taylor-Johnson, which includes Robert Eggers’ much-anticipated version of Nosferatu, Marvel’s Kraven and the Hunter, and the Ryan Gosling-starrer The Fall Guy. Meanwhile, Mackenzie is getting ready to don the director’s hat for Relay, starring Riz Ahmed, Sam Worthington, and Lily James.
