20th Century's next production, Ella McCay has added Jack Lowden to the cast. The film comes from director James L Brooks. The film already has Emma Mackey, Jamie Lee Curtis, Woody Harrelson, Ayo Edebiri, Albert Brooks, Kumail Nanjiani and Spike Fearn onboard. 

Ella McCay is about an idealistic young politician who, in the process of taking over the job of her mentor, the state's longtime governor, juggles familial issues and a challenging work life.

Director Brooks is set to produce the film along with Julie Ansell and Richard Sakar, his producing partners. They will produce through their Gracie Films Banner, while Seth Meier will executive produce. The film is currently in production. 

Lowden was last seen in the hit Apple drama series, Slow Horses, in which he is seen alongside Gary Oldman. The fourth season of the series is set to air later this year, while the fifth season will go on floors this Spring. He has also wrapped filming for Tornado co-starring Tim Roth.
