The trailer for Shifting Gears, starring Tim Allen and Kat Dennings, was unveiled on Monday. Created by Mike Scully and Julie Thacker Scully, the series also stars Seann William Scott, Daryl Mitchell, Maxwell Simkins, and Barrett Margolis among others.

The trailer shows Allen as a widower, Matt, whose estranged daughter, Riley (Dennings), comes back along with her children. He asks her to move into his house, but the two find it difficult to get along. The trailer promises a hilarious journey into how they mend their relationship.

Executive producers of Shifting Gears include Tim Allen, Rick Messina, Richard Baker, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, John Pasquin, John Amodeo, Mike Scully, Julie Thacker Scully, Michelle Nader, Bob Daily, and Jim Patterson. Tomorrow Studios, Scully Productions, Boxing Cat Productions, Shaky Gun Productions, and 20th Television are the producers of the series.

Shifting Gears is all set to premiere on ABC on January 8, 2025.
