Disney has unveiled a new song 'Waiting on a Wish' from the much-anticipated live-action adaptation of Snow White.

The one-minute-long song video, written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land), showcases the magical land that Snow White (Rachel Zegler) lives in, while encapsulating her dreams and desires for a better future. The song provides a fresh take on the evergreen classic and touches upon nostalgic moments associated with the 1937 film. The song is set to be one of several new additions to the film's soundtrack. The film also stars Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen targeting Snow White, Andrew Burnap as Jonathan, Ansu Kabia as Huntsman, Dujonna Gift as Maple, and Martin Klebba as Grumpy.

Snow White is directed by Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man) and produced by Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff, with Callum McDougall serving as executive producer. The film features all-new original songs from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson serve as screenplay writers.

Snow White is a live-action remake of the 1937 classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which is said to be the first animated feature film produced in the United States. It is scheduled to release on screens on March 21, 2025.
