Actors Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Teri Polo and Blythe Danner are in negotiations to reprise their roles in the new Meet The Parents film which is in the works at Universal Pictures.

The fourth installment in the franchise will have a screenplay written by John Hamburg who will be returning after scripting the 2000 original and the two subsequent sequels - Meet the Fockers (2004) and Little Fockers (2010).
