The trailer for the British film, The Salt Path, was unveiled on Wednesday. The film, which marks the feature directorial debut of  Marianne Elliott, stars Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs in lead roles. 

Gillian and Jason play a married couple in the upcoming film. After receiving devastating health news and losing their home due to legal issues, the couple embarks on an extraordinary journey, hiking the 630-mile South West Coast Path, England's longest uninterrupted trail, which spans the stunning coastlines of Devon, Cornwall, and Dorset, from Minehead to Poole.

The film also stars James Lance and Hermione Norris.The Salt Path has by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, who based it on the memoir of the same name by Raynor Winn. The film premiered in the Special Presentations section at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival on 6 September 2024.

The Salt Path is all set to hit theatres on April 25, 2025.
