Katya Martín and Catharine Daddario to headline Muffled

The upcoming independent horror comedy, Muffled, is all set to be headlined by Katya Martín and Catharine Daddario. The film is written and directed by Stephen McNamee, who will be making his feature debut.

Martín and Daddario will be seen as Nora and Harper, friends investigate the dissappearance of their childhood friend back in their native town. However, they discover that old acquaintances are hesitant to answer their questions, which takes their investigation to a darker place. 

Muffled is scheduled to go on floors in the Great New Orleans are in early September. The film is produced by Stephen McNamee and Burns McNamee under the I'm Okay Productions banner, along with Adam Kinyon for Best Dresses Films. 

Last seen in Godfather of Harlem, Martín is known for Promised Land, Big Sky and The Affair. On the other hand, Daddario was last seen in John Krasinski's IF and the legal drama The Good Fight
