Little Brother, which marks the directorial debut of Sheridan O’Donnell and stars Daniel Diemer, JK Simmons, Polly Draper, and Phillip Ettigner, has a release window. Gravitas Ventures, which bought its Canadian and US distribution rights, will release the film in theatres this September.

In Little Brother, Ettinger's character Pete tries to kill himself, forcing his father, Simmons' Warren, to enlist the help of Pete's sibling, Diemer's Jake, to drive him to a family intervention in Seattle. En route, the brothers have a difficult time reconciling their past conflicts and forming a fresh bond.

Little Brother premiered at the Atlanta Film Festival last year and won the Audience Award. For O’Donnell, it is a personal film as he got partly inspired to do it following his friend's suicide. He said, “I wrote the film to capture their warmth and humor and attempt to understand their mental health journey, all of which I hope deeply connects with viewers. We’re grateful to Gravitas Ventures for championing the film and are thrilled to work with them on bringing Little Brother to audiences.”
