Guy Ritchie's gangster drama The Gentlemen has been confirmed to return for a second season on Netflix. Filming for the second season, which is expected to have eight episodes, will take place in 2025.

The Gentlemen is considered to be a spin-off of Ritchie's 2019 film of the same name, traversing similar themes and having a similar treatment. The film starred Charlie Hunnam, Matthew McConaughey, Colin Farrell, and Jeremy Strong.

The series stars Theo James as Edward Horniman, a Duke who gets his hands dirty in the weed business, along with partner-in-crime Susie Glass (Kaya Scodelario). The first season premiered on Netflix on March 7, 2024.

James and Scodelario are expected to return for the second season. The series also stars Daniel Ings, Ray Winstone, and Giancarlo Esposito, among others. The additional cast for the upcoming season is expected to be announced in the coming months.

Ritchie will be returning as director and writer, along with co-writer Matthew Read. He will also executive produce it along with Read, Will Gould, Frith Tiplady, Marc Helwig and Ivan Atkinson.
