Rupert Wyatt is reportedly in talks with Lionsgate to helm the Black List screenplay from screenwriter Adam Yorke, Boxman.

In this gripping thriller, a failed bank robbery results in 19 individuals being trapped inside a cutting-edge vault. With time running out and oxygen levels dwindling, the FBI is forced to enlist the expertise of a master safecracker, currently incarcerated in federal prison, to rescue those inside before it's too late.

Ben Pugh and Josh Varney of 42 and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger of Range Media Partners will produce Boxman. Casey Durant and AJ Bourscheid of Range will executive produce. Lionsgate's Meredith Wieck and Jon Humphrey will oversee the project.

Wyatt, who made his directorial debut with The Escapist, is also known for Rise of the Planet of the Apes. He currently has Desert Warrior coming up, which stars Anthony Mackie and Aiysha Hart in lead roles.
