The censorship committee in Qatar has prevented It Ends With Us, the latest Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni starrer, from releasing in theatres in the country for its intimate scenes. Deadline first reported the news. Qatar has stringent censorship policies, and this is not the first film to face a ban in the country. The other PG-13-rated films to get a ban in Qatar are Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, and Eternals.

Director-actor Justin Baldoni's film follows a flower seller named Lily Bloom (Lively) who gets into a romantic relationship with a neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni). Lily's association with her childhood friend Atlas Corrigan (Brandon Sklenar) makes Ryle so jealous that it affects their relationship. The film basaed Colleen Hoover’s novel It Ends With Us hails from the Wayfarer Studios banner.

The film came out in Indian theatres last week, along with the Cate Blanchett starrer Borderlands.
