Ben Affleck starrer The Accountant 2 gets a release date

The sequel to the The Accountant, starring Ben Affleck in the lead role, will release in theatres on April 25, 2025. Gavin O’Connor comes back to helm the film for Artists Equity, as does screenwriter Bill Dubuque.

In The Accountant 2, when mysterious assassins kill the erstwhile boss of Cynthia Addai-Robinson's character Marybeth Medina, the treasury agent has no option but to contact Affleck's Christian Wolff to solve it. Chris enlists the help of his estranged yet lethal sibling, Jon Bernthal's Brax, and uses his own intelligence and questionable methods to unravel the mystery. When the three approach the truth, they catch the eye of ruthless killers hellbent on ending their search.

Affleck produces the film with his actor friend Matt Damon, Mark Williams, and Lynette Howell Taylor. Artists Equity and 51 Entertainment are the production banners.
