DreamWorks Animation released another teaser for its upcoming film, titled The Wild Robot, adapted from Peter Brown's eponymous book. The teaser gives a sneak peek into its animated characters and features the Maren Morris song 'Kiss the Sky'. Morris' song 'Even When I’m Not' also features in the film, which Christopher Sanders, best known for How to Train Your Dragon and Lilo & Stitch, directed from his own screenplay.

The plot follows ROZZUM unit 7134 after a shipwreck leaves the robot stranded on an island, making it familiarise with the harsh environment while gradually forging connections with the inhabitants of the island and a gosling's adoptive parent. The Wild Robot has a voice cast that includes Lupita Nyong’o, Pedro Pascal, Catherine O’Hara, Bill Nighy, Kit Connor, Stephanie Hsu, Mark Hamill, Matt Berry, and Ving Rhames. Raymond Zibach is the production designer, with Mary Blee as editor.

Jeff Hermann produced the film for DreamWorks Animation. Universal Pictures is set to release the film in theatres worldwide on September 27 this year.
