The trailer for English Teacher, the upcoming FX series, was unveiled by the streamer on Tuesday. The comedy series is created by and stars Brian Jordan Alvarez as the titular character. 

The trailer shows Alvarez as Evan Marquez, a high school teacher who is dedicated to his job and wants to bring about a change in the lives of his students. But, considering they're teenagers, he is met with challenges. 

The official synopsis for English Teacher reads, "Evan Marquez, a high school teacher in Austin, Texas, often finds himself at the intersection of the personal, professional, and political aspects of working at a high school. Evan wants to be a principled person but often runs into trouble because of it."

English Teacher is all set to premiere on Hulu on September 2.
