Eiza Gonzalez’s representatives are negotiating with the producers of Mike and Nick and Nick and Alice to fetch her a role in the film, starring Vince Vaughn and James Marsden. BenDavid Grabinski is attached as the writer-director for the film, with Andrew Lazar as a producer.

In May, 20th Century Studios landed it after an intense bidding war. The makers are yet to disclose the full plot details, but the speculative screenplay calls it a buddy action comedy set in the underworld of criminals.

Gonzalez’s most recent work is 3 Body Problem, the Emmy award-nominated show from True Blood producer Alexander Woo as well as Game of Thrones’ creators DB Weiss and David Benioff. Her upcoming projects also include the show La Maquina, alongside Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal, Guy Ritchie’s In the Grey, along with Henry Cavill and Jake Gyllenhaal, and Ritchie’s Fountain of Youth, with John Krasinski and Natalie Portman.
