The trailer of Beatles documentary, Let It Be, which was restored weeks ago, has been released on Tuesday.

Initially released in 1970 after the Beatles' break up, the documentary will be streamed on May 8 in Disney+.

The trailer video shows glimpses of the band in jamming sessions and live performance of the song 'Let It Be', from which the documentary takes its name.

The documentary film, directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, was restored by Peter Jackson, who directed and produced The Beatles: Get Back docuseries.

Jackson's Park Road Post Production has reportedly employed the same technology used to revitalise the vintage footage from his docuseries.

The documentary is one of the most awaited as it contains some footage that Peter Jackson's docuseries didn't have. Also, the docu initially viewed through darker lens has been brought to light post-restoration.

Let It Be stars John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, with Billy Preston making a special appearance. The documentary was produced by Neil Aspinall with The Beatles acting as the executive producers.
