Jojo Rabbit fame Archie Yates stars in a lead role in Clout | A Cautionary Tale, according to a Variety report. In the film, which marks the directorial debut of Jordan Murphy Doidge, Archie Yates essays the role of a boarding school teenager named Oskar whose life takes a dramatic turn as he tries to prove himself to be famous on the internet. Dodge, Tom Duthie, and Tristam Thomas are the co-writers of the screenplay for the film, which is billed as a coming-of-age drama that discusses socially relevant issues such as cyberbullying, viral obsession, and the gradual decay of truth on the internet.

Tatami star Nadine Marshall, Samuel Leakey of Gretel & Hansel, social influencer Kit Price, and Black Mirror fame Anna Wilson-Jones are also part of the cast of Clout | A Cautionary Tale. Francis Chapman is producing the film for Pimlico Pictures. Principal photography is underway, and the screenplay is shot in both feature- and short-length versions.
