The filming of the second season of Apple TV's series Severance has been completed.

As per Collider, Carol Deelay, one of the crew members of the show, announced the shooting wrap of the second season on her Instagram handle.

The series debuted on February 18, 2022, and concluded its nine-episode run on April 8 of the same year. Season 2 of Severance faced significant delays in early 2023, and production had to be halted shortly after due to WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

The series is created by Dan Erickson, and its first season features an ensemble cast, including Adam Scott, Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Dichen Lachman, Michael Chernus, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette. Additionally, the second season cast includes Gwendoline Christie, John Noble, and Bob Balaban. However, no further details have been revealed about the plot and cast of the upcoming season.

The sci-fi series revolves around a company called Lumon Industries, which introduces a severance program that separates work memories from personal memories for its employees. One employee named Marc Scout, played by Adam Scott, uncovers a web of controversy plaguing the organisation's inner circle.

Season one of the series received 14 nominations at the Primetime Emmy Awards, including for Outstanding Drama Series, along with several acting nominations.
