New Transformers One character posters out

The makers of Transformers One released posters of the film's characters Megatron (Brian Tyree Henry), Optimus Prime (Chris Hemsworth), B-127 (Keegan-Michael Key), and Elita-1 (Scarlett Johansson). It is an animated film that is being billed as a Transformers origin story. It tells the story of how Megatron and Optimus Prime go from being brothers-in-arms to rivals.

Earlier, Paramount made history by becoming the first film studio to launch a film trailer into outer space with Transformers One. It is also the first Transformers animation film to come out in theatres in almost 40 years.

Steven Spielberg is executive producing it, alongside Bradley J Fischer, Valerii An, Brian Oliver, and Brian Goldner. Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Don Murphy, Tom DeSanto, Mark Vahradian, Michael Bay, and Aaron Dem are the producers of the film. Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari penned the screenplay of the prequel, which is slated for a September 20 release.
