Captain America is going to return with a fourth installment which will be a follow-up to Captain America: Civil War. Captain America: Brave New World will have Anthony Mackie playing Sam Wilson (Captain America).

Disney at CinemaCon screened a glimpse of Anthony Mackie in the iconic red, white, and blue attire. The glimpse footage shows Sam Wilson saving the US President Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford), from mind-controlled assassins. Ross also seeks Captain America's help to rebuild the Avengers.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said the upcoming film will be on the lines of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) on the basis of the theme. He said the fourth installment would be "a grounded action thriller" with no aliens. The film would focus on the machinations of the political sphere.

The Captain America: Brave New World would feature the ensemble cast of Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Tim Blake Nelson, Harrison Ford, Liv Tyler andd Shira Haas.

Captain America: Brave New World directed by Julius Onah is produced by Kevin Feige, Nate Moore and Malcolm Spellman. The film will be released in the US on February 14, 2025.
