The makers of Speak No Evil dropped the film's trailer earlier today on YouTube. James McAvoy plays a doctor in the remake of a 2022 Danish film, whose title also translates to Speak No Evil. Or at least he says he is a doctor. The trailer shows a couple and their daughter coming to the vacation house of Paddy (McAvoy), Ciara (Aisling Franciosi), and their son Ant (Daniel Hough) in a seemingly idyllic countryside. The two families spend their time idyling away in and around the house in the initial parts of the trailer, but it soon shows Paddy unleashing the beast within him. The trailer leaves us with enough intrigue about Paddy's real identity, making us wonder whether he is even human.

Scoot McNairy and Mackenzie Davis play Ben and Louise Dalton, the couple who visit Paddy's vacation house with their daughter Agnes (Alix West Lefler). James Watkins adapted Speak No Evil from the Danish film of the same name for the screen and directed it. Jason Blum and Paul Ritchie are producing the film. Christian Tafdrup, Jacob Jarek, and Blumhouse's Beatriz Sequeira are serving as its executive producers.
