CE Features

Recently, we reported that Jayme Lawson has been added to the cast of Michael B Jordan's supernatural thriller helmed by Ryan Coogler for Warner Bros. The latest additions to the cast are Hailee Steinfeld and Omar Benson Miller. They join previously announced cast members Jack O’Connell, Delroy Lindo, and Wunmi Mosaku.

The feature is gearing up for a shoot later this spring in New Orleans. Coogler wrote the script and is also producing via his production company Proximity Media. Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian will also produce.

The film's plot and details about their roles are currently kept undisclosed. Reportedly, the film is set in the South during the Jim Crow era and may incorporate both vampires and magical Southern supernatural traditions where Jordan is expected to be playing dual roles — as twin brothers.

The film is set for March 7, 2025, and will also play in IMAX theatres.

Meanwhile, Miller, who last played a voice role in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, is currently awaiting the release of the indie drama from Gabriele Salvatores, Naples to New York.

Steinfeld, on the other hand, was last seen in the 2021 Marvel series Hawkeye as the titular character, also known as Kate Bishop. She is known as the voice behind Gwen Stacy in Spider-Verse series of films, and will be reprising her voice role in the upcoming Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse film.
