Director Olivia Wilde is associated with the adaptation of Avengelyne, a character from Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld's comic books. Margot Robbie is producing it along with her LuckyChap Entertainment partners Josey McNamara and Tom Ackerley. Simon Kinberg, the writer and producer of the Deadpool franchise films and many X-Men films, is also attached to this project as a producer. The producers are now in search of a streaming platform and a studio for the project, which is reportedly a feature film.

Avengelyne is an angel from heaven entrusted with the task of finding and protecting an individual who is important to keeping humanity safe from monsters.

Wilde started out her film career with acting roles before becoming a director, with features such as Booksmart and Don’t Worry Darling. Robbie's LuckyChap Entertainment is producing Wilde's upcoming directorial Naughty as well.
