Katherine Dudas' campy horror comedy, Theater is Dead is all set to star Decker Sadowski and Shane West in lead roles. Dudas has also written the film along with Sadowski, Olivia Blue and Madison Lawlor. The filming for Theater is Dead was recently concluded on Vashon Island, WA.
Along with Sadowski and West, Blue and Lawlor also star in supporting roles. Jacob Nichols, Stephanie Suganami, Colin McCalla, Dylan Adler, Tammy Tavares and Julie Wittner round out the cast of Theater is Dead.
The upcoming film is all set to follow a theater artist who is abused by her mentor, and what happens when she turns her trauma into a rage. Willow (Sadowski) is the mentee, who meets thater director Matthew Malvaggio (West) in the isolated island she lives in. She is tapped for the lead role of a modern adaptation of Sophocles’ Greek tragedy Women of Trachis after she auditions. She then goes on a journey of self-discovery under his mentorship, but she ignorant to the dangers and obstacles on her pathway to achieving her dream.
Dudas, Sadowski, Blue, Lawlor, Nichols, West and Juan Mas are producing Theater is Dead along with Zach Mann of Halfway Crooks Entertainment.
