Smile sequel gets release date 

The upcoming sequel will also be directed by Parker Finn who also helmed the first part

We had earlier reported that a sequel of the 2022 supernatural horror film Smile, is in the making, at the Paramount Pictures. The makers have now announced that the sequel is set to hit the theatres on October 18, 2024, in time for the Halloween.

Smile revolved around therapist Rose Cotter, who begins to experience haunting instances after she gets to witness suicide of her patient. The film, directed by Parker Finn, stars Sosie Bacon as the therapist, along with  Jessie T Usher, Kyle Gallner, Kal Penn, and Rob Morgan. Smile went on to become a commercial success.

The upcoming sequel will also be directed by Parker, although the cast is yet to be revealed.
