A new glimpse of Squid Game: The Challenge has been released and it is eerily similar to the Squid Game series. The reality series that will premiere on Netflix will show 456 contestants battling it out for $4.56 million.

Netflix also confirmed that the ten-episode series is set to drop on Nov. 22. Previously, they revealed the game show was going to premiere in November at their Tudu fan event earlier this summer. Only one winner will take home the $4.56 million cash prize.

The original Squid Game series (2021), Netflix’s most popular show of all time, told the story of a divorced father and gambler (Lee Jung-Jae) who joins a secret competition with 456 total players. But the losers of each round are executed in the survival game until one victor remains and takes home the cash prize. The series has been renewed for a second season.

The series is being co-produced by Studio Lambert and The Garden with Stephen Lambert, Tim Harcourt and Toni Ireland from Studio Lambert; and John Hay, Nicola Hill and Nicola Brown from The Garden serving as executive producers.
