Apple TV+ releases trailer of Lessons in Chemistry

Apple TV+ released the trailer of its upcoming series Lessons in Chemistry recently. The series stars Brie Larson Who will also serve as the executive producer.

The eight part series is based on the bestselling novel from author, science editor and copywriter Bonnie Garmus’ Lessons in Chemistry. It will premiere on October 13 on Apple TV+.

Lessons in Chemistry is set against the backdrop of early 1950 and revolves around Elizabeth Zott, who dreams to be a scientist in the society riddled by patriarchy. After being fired from her lab, she accepts a job as a host on a TV cooking show, she sets out to teach housewives and the men a lot more than just recipes.

Others part of the cast include Lewis Pullman, Aja Naomi King, Stephanie Koenig, Kevin Sussman, Patrick Walker, and Thomas Mann  among others. The series is backed by Apple Studios, with Lee Eisenberg as show runner. Lessons in Chemistry is directed by Sarah Adina Smith.
