Sympathy for the Devil, the 2023 American film starring actor Nicholas Cage in the lead role, will be in India on Lionsgate Play from September 29. The film had its world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival in July following which it released in theatres on July 28.

Directed by Yuval Adler, the film revolves around a taxi driver who is enroute to hospital. However circumstances change as he is held at gunpoint by a passenger. While Joel Kinnaman plays the driver, Nicholas essays the role of the passenger.

Sympathy for the Devil is written by Luke Paradise and produced by Allan Ungar, Alex Lebovici, Stuart Manashil, and Cage. Others part of the cast include Alexis Zollicoffer, Cameron Lee Price, Oliver McCallum, Burns Burns among others.
