The trailer of the upcoming Chicken Run sequel, Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, was released by the makers on social media on Tuesday. The film will premiere on Netflix on December 15.

The sequel to the 2000 sequel, the upcoming film will concentrate on the group of chickens who will try to break into the place that once held them as prisoners, in the first part.

While Julia Sawalha voiced for Ginger, the sequel will feature Thandiwe Newton's voice. Miranda Richardson who voiced for Mrs Tweedy will reprise the role, along with a voice cast including Zachary Levi, Bella Ramsey, Jane Horrocks, Imelda Staunton among others.

The new film will be directed by Sam Fell. It is written by Karey Kirkpatrick, John O'Farrell, and Rachel Tunnard from an original story by Kirkpatrick and O'Farrell.
