Candy Cane Lane, the upcoming film, starring actor Eddie Murphy in the lead role, is set to premiere on Prime Video on December 1.

A holiday comedy adventure, Candy Cane Lane is about a man who aims to win his neighborhood’s annual Christmas home decoration contest. Chris (Eddie Murphy) strikes a deal with an elf Pepper (Jillian Bell), she casts a magic spell that brings the 12 Days of Christmas to life, creating a ruckus .

Others part of the cast include Tracee Ellis Ross, Jillian Bell, Ken Marino, Nick Offerman, Robin Thede, Chris Redd, DC Young Fly, and Anjelah Johnson-Reyes. Directed by Reginald Hudlin, it is backed by Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Eddie Murphy, Karen Lunder, Charisse Hewitt-Webster.

The upcoming film will mark Reginald, Eddie and Brian’s first collaboration since the release of their 1992 film Boomerang. Candy Cane Lane is written by Kelly Younger who has penned the story taking inspiration from his childhood holiday experiences.
