Actor Gabriel Guevara arrested at Venice Film Festival on sexual assault charge

The actor was reportedly set to receive a Best Young Actor award at the awards ceremony

Spanish actor Gabriel Guevara was arrested at the Venice Film Festival on sexual assault charges. The actor reportedly had an active international warrant in his name which alleged him of sexual assault in France. 

The actor started his film career with Charter (2018). He became famous after his performance in Amazon Prime's My Fault, Culpa Mia. He is currently a part of the upcoming films in the franchise, titled Your Fault and Our Fault.

The actor was reportedly set to receive a Best Young Actor award at the awards ceremony, after attending a press conference at the Venice Film Festival. Gabriel's arrest was confirmed by the Venice police, as per a report on The Post Internazionale. 

Organised by La Biennale di Venezia, the 80th Venice International Film Festival is directed by Alberto Barbera. The venue of the event is Venice Lido. It began on 30 August and will wrap up on 9 September 2023.
