Antoine Fuqua hopes his Michael Jackson biopic to capture "good, bad, and the ugly"

We had earlier reported that filmmaker Antoine Fuqua will be helming a biopic on the cultural icon Michael Jackson, with his nephew Jaafar Jackson playing his uncle onscreen.  The film is titled Michael. The director of the film opened up about the film recently and said how the biopic will capture all the essence, “the good, bad, and the ugly”.

Speaking about the project, the director had said that he hopes to provide a “better insight on Michael as an artist, as a human being - the good, bad, and the ugly - and let people decide for themselves on what they feel about Michael Jackson”.

However, the project is currently on hold due to the ongoing writers' strike. Michael for Lionsgate.

Meanwhile, Antoine's recent film to hit the theatres was The Equalizer 3, starring Denzel Washington in the lead role. The film, which is currently running in theatres, also stars Dakota Fanning.
