CE Features

The trailer of Manodrome, the upcoming film starring Adrien Brody, was released by Lionsgate Movies recently. Hitting the theatres on November 10, the film also stars Jesse Eisenberg, Odessa Young, Philip Ettinger, Sallieu Sesay, Ethan Suplee, Evan Joningkeit, and Caleb Eberhardt, among others.

“Ralphie is a man wrestling with outside forces and the demons within when he meets a mysterious family of men who welcome him as one of their own. As Ralphie struggles to define himself, pressure mounts and a powder keg is lit that will blow a hole in the lives of everyone he touches,” reads the synopsis.

The trailer starts with a man awaiting his child's birth. With being tired by the mundanity of his life, he ends up finding a group of men who highlight male bonding through dominance and power. Completely enamoured by this, the man goes into a cycle of vicious male toxicity as his relationship with his wife takes a sour turn.

The film is directed by John Trengove.
