Couple of days after the death of actor Matthew Perry who portrayed the role of Chandler Bing in Friends sitcom, his co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer, broke their silence and issued a joint statement of mourning, to People Magazine.

While the five friends are yet to publicly address on social media, they said to People Magazine, "We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”

The statement was signed by the five actors.

Jennifer, Courteney, Lisa, Matt and David along with Matthew played the role of six friends and protagonists in all ten seasons of Friends. It is to be noted that while Courteney played Chandler’s love interest Monica, Matt essayed the role of Joey, who is known to share a camaraderie with Chandler as his roommate.

Created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, Matthew's Chandler is one among the crowd favourite, for his sarcastic comments and humorous one-liners. The actor was found drowned in a jacuzzi in his home in Los Angeles. He was 54.
